The proprietary components and materials that I use are high quality USA,UK or European sourced and for the more bespoke designs I machine components from solid materials.
Winding pickups by hand (scatter winding) does not supress the higher frequencies to the extent that fully automated coil winding can. The result is a clearer, more detailed sound, more responsive to playing style and instrument construction.
